Project Description & Language Objectives Overview Congratulations! You are about to embark on the virtual trip of a lifetime! Your participation in this project will take you to places on this earth you will probably never see in your lifetime, meet people you didn’t know even existed, and delve into your unexamined personal views, all in the context of an academic challenge. Project Learning Objectives / (Content Language Objectives) Students will read, write and share information to answer self-guided research questions that explore a variety of topics and regions of our planet. Students will produce a well-researched online non-fiction publication (using both GoogleEarth and MixBook) with key-word researched writing, paraphrased and presented in a creative format that is supported with images and virtual artifacts found through various websites. Students will use authentic content vocabulary such as: Web2.0, applications, online sources, artifacts, image manipulation, topic sentence, supporting details, latitude/longitude, region, conclusion, introduction, keywords
